The start of something big!
On Monday 25th May we started the build of the show garden at the NEC in Birmingham and the garden is now finished!

Pictured here is the current position of the show garden, planting and finishing off is next week and this is when the garden will be ready for the show!
We have teamed up with Victoriana Nursery to build a school children's garden at this years BBC Gardeners World Live June 10th to 14th. Then after the show the same garden will be rebuilt at Leys Farm Junior School in Bottesford, North Lincolnshire.
The garden features a under glass growing area, semi shade seating area, raised vegetable and herb beds, fruit area, loggery and wildlife area. Composting, water saving, recycling and more will also feature in the garden.

The Showgarden build at the NEC

The build is underway, this is where the six months of careful planning all come together to create the end result we all envisaged. Everything has to happen on time, without fail, from equipment delivery to the building of the shed, benches, raised beds, the fencing, everything has to be painted, installed and ready for the crowning glory of the garden, the plants, and finaly the bright yellow shade sail.
